TikTok benchmark methodology
Storika publishes aggregate benchmarks from public TikTok creator profiles. The current release was generated on August 13, 2026.
Who is included
Profiles must be public, pass Storika’s brand-safety floor, have a valid two-letter profile country, and contain valid follower, engagement, and average-view measurements. Profiles on the removal denylist are excluded before aggregation.
How categories work
A profile can carry multiple source categories. We split the source value, trim and lowercase each category, remove duplicates, sort the set, and treat that normalized set as one category group. Empty and placeholder values are excluded.
Privacy floor
A country-by-category page is published only when the group contains at least 30 distinct creator profiles. Counts are based on distinct profiles, not rows or observations. Groups below the floor do not receive a public page.
What the statistics mean
Each page reports the 25th percentile, median, and 75th percentile for followers, engagement rate, and average views. Country refers to the country recorded on the public profile, not audience geography or citizenship. These descriptive benchmarks do not identify any profile and are not a forecast of campaign performance.
Freshness and retirement
The data is rematerialized monthly. A page’s visible update date changes only when its sample or statistics move by the published material-change threshold. A group that no longer clears the sample floor is removed and folded into its country overview. Eligible pages can also be retired after 90 days with no impressions in both Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools.
